The UK General Election 2017 is scheduled to take place today, June 8th.
This will create many trading opportunities for our fundamental traders, particularly across GBP, EUR, and CHF pairs, and of course the FTSE and additional European indices we offer.
With every increased opportunity comes an increased risk, and we kindly ask our clients to be aware of potentially very volatile market conditions. Widened spreads and slippage are to be expected, as the banks may withdraw their liquidity from the market.

Thursday 8th June
07:00 – Polling stations open
22:00 – Polling stations close
22:00-23:00 – Exit poll results
Friday 9th June
00:00 – 02:00 – Declarations come in from across the country
02:30 – Jeremy Corbyn's Islington North constituency result declared
04:00 – Theresa May's constituency in Maidenhead, Berkshire, declares
13:00 – Last seat to declare
