Possible changes in trading conditions due to increased volatility in the financial markets

Due to excessive volatility observed in the financial markets over the past few days and a significant drop in the stock and raw materials markets, protection mechanisms were triggered on most global trading floors, which had led to the trading suspension. During such periods of unplanned market closures, financial service providers cannot ensure the quotes flow for the respective instruments until trading resumes.
With regard to the unfavorable market situation, AMarkets may take temporary precautions and apply the following conditions to the corresponding instruments:
- Switch financial instruments to “Close only” mode or suspend trading,
- Increase margin requirements,
- Impose restrictions on trading conditions.
We recommend that you take into account possible risks that may arise in the course of your trading and make sure that you have sufficient funds in your trading accounts to maintain open positions, including locked positions (in the event of the spread widening).
