Changes in the Trading Terms for Index CFDs

We are pleased to announce some updates regarding trades involving index CFDs at Gerchik & Co:

1. New Trading Symbols Added

We have introduced three new symbols for your trading convenience:

• NDXcash (US NASDAQ 100 index)
• US30cash (US Dow Jones 30 index)
• US500cash (US SPX500 index)

2. Changes in Trading Volumes for JPN225 and SPX500

• The minimum volume and step have been adjusted from 1 lot to 0.5 lot (for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 accounts).
• The maximum volume has been adjusted from 200 lots to 20 lots (for MetaTrader 5 accounts ONLY).

3. Trading Involving SPX500, USTEC, and US30 Available Until July 1, 2024.

• SPX500, USTEC, and US30 will be available for trading until June 1, 2024.
• During the period from June 1, 2024, to July 1, 2024, trading in these symbols will be limited to closing open positions, with no new positions allowed.
• From July 1, 2024, all open positions for these symbols will be automatically closed, and they will no longer be available on the trading platforms.

Changes in Trading Hours During Holidays

Kindly be informed that there will be adjustments to the trading hours in late March and April 2024 due to upcoming holidays:

Upcoming Changes in Trading Conditions of US Stocks and ETF in MT5

Dear traders,

Please be informed that starting from March 18, 2024, there will be alterations to the trading conditions concerning assets within the US Stocks and ETF groups for MetaTrader 5 accounts. However, trading conditions in MetaTrader 4 will remain unchanged.

Here’s what will change:

These adjustments will become effective at 00:00 on March 18, 2024, according to the MetaTrader 5 server time. For MetaTrader 4 accounts, all existing conditions will remain unchanged.

Beginning of 2024 Daylight-Saving Time: A Memo for Traders

We would like to inform you that daylight-saving time begins in the United States on Sunday, March 10, 2024, and so the time difference between the USA and the EU countries, as well as the United Kingdom, will be reduced by 1 hour.

The time of the MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 trading terminals will be changed by 1 from GMT+2 to GMT+3.

IMPORTANT!
The market will open at midnight on March 10. The trading session time of all CFDs on European indices and stocks will be adjusted by 1 hour accordingly.

On Sunday, March 26, 2023, daylight-saving time will take effect in Europe, and the time difference between the EU and the USA will revert to normal. This means that the trading session time in terms of European market assets will be moved backward 1 hour and will become standard again.

ATTENTION!

From March 11 through April 1, 2024, the financial market will open 1 hour earlier for Gerchik & Co’s European customers (at 10:00 p.m. CET instead of 11:00 p.m. CET). Server time will not be affected by this.

Upcoming Changes: Trading Instruments To Be Replaced on MT4 and MT5

Dear valued customers,

Effective December 18, 2023 (Monday), there will be some changes to the lineup of trading instruments on the MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 trading platforms:

Commencing December 18, 2023, new instruments, namely COPPERf, DXf, and NGASf, will be introduced. These will replace the existing USCOPPER, DX, and NGAS, which will be available for trading only until December 21, 2023, till 11:59 p.m. company server time.

We kindly request you to close opened positions involving the old instruments beforehand. Failure to do so will result in the automatic closure of these positions on December 22, 2023.

IMPORTANT!

Please note that the trading terms for the newly introduced ticker symbols COPPERf, DXf, and NGASf differ from those associated with the old ones. Make sure to factor in these changes when trading and, if needed, adjust your risk management parameters accordingly.
