On January 20, the people of the US celebrate the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. It is a federal holiday made to celebrate the life and achievements of a famous civil rights leader. 

Thus, the working hours of the financial markets will differ on January 20: 

  • US Stocks (MT5) – closed 
  • Metals (XAUUSD, XAGUSD, Platinum, Palladium); CFDs (BRN, NASDAQ, S&P500, WTI) – works till 20:00 (MT time)
