BREAKING NEWS: DAX 30 SYMBOL NAME TO BE ADJUSTED

Dear customers,

We would like to inform you that Germany’s Dax (DE 30 Index Cash) expanded from 30 to 40 constituents on the 20th of September 2021.

In light of this, on the 9th of October 2021, the index symbol on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 trading platforms at Gerchik & Co shall change from GER_30 to GER_40 accordingly.

Please note that:

  • The name of the symbol in open positions involving DAX 30 will be automatically changed to GER_40 on October 9th.
  • If you are using Expert Advisors or Indicators, you will need to activate them on the new chart (GER_40) when the market opens on the 11th of October.
  • The change in the symbol’s name will not affect the price of the index itself.
  • The trading terms, margin requirements and spreads of the index shall remain unchanged.
