Changes in Trading Hours During Holidays

Attention, traders!

Kindly be informed that there will be adjustments to the trading hours in late March and April 2024 due to upcoming holidays:

  •  March 28th: Maundy Thursday, leading to early closure of AUS_200.
  •  March 29th: Good Friday, with trades being closed for many instruments.
  •  April 1st and 2nd: Easter weekend.
  •  April 4th: Qingming Festival, observed as a holiday in China.
  •  April 25th: Anzac Day, observed as a holiday in Australia and New Zealand.

Upcoming Changes in Trading Conditions of US Stocks and ETF in MT5

Dear traders,

Please be informed that starting from March 18, 2024, there will be alterations to the trading conditions concerning assets within the US Stocks and ETF groups for MetaTrader 5 accounts. However, trading conditions in MetaTrader 4 will remain unchanged.

Here’s what will change:

Trade volume
    • The minimum order volume for US Stocks and ETFs will be decreased from 50 lots to 1 lot.

Commission Fee
  • The commission for a single lot in a trade will be $0.03, with a minimum commission of $1.5 per trade.
  • This commission will be deducted from each trade, both upon entering and exiting a position. Instead of the previous $0.06 per lot for entering a position, there will now be a $0.03 commission per lot for both entry and exit.

These adjustments will become effective at 00:00 on March 18, 2024, according to the MetaTrader 5 server time. For MetaTrader 4 accounts, all existing conditions will remain unchanged.

Beginning of 2024 Daylight-Saving Time: A Memo for Traders

Dear customers!

We would like to inform you that daylight-saving time begins in the United States on Sunday, March 10, 2024, and so the time difference between the USA and the EU countries, as well as the United Kingdom, will be reduced by 1 hour.

The time of the MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 trading terminals will be changed by 1 from GMT+2 to GMT+3.

IMPORTANT!
The market will open at midnight on March 10. The trading session time of all CFDs on European indices and stocks will be adjusted by 1 hour accordingly.

On Sunday, March 26, 2023, daylight-saving time will take effect in Europe, and the time difference between the EU and the USA will revert to normal. This means that the trading session time in terms of European market assets will be moved backward 1 hour and will become standard again.

ATTENTION!

From March 11 through April 1, 2024, the financial market will open 1 hour earlier for Gerchik & Co’s European customers (at 10:00 p.m. CET instead of 11:00 p.m. CET). Server time will not be affected by this.

Please be informed that the trading hours on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 platforms in February will be subject to certain changes due to the following holidays:

  •  February 9, 2024 (Friday), February 12, 2024 (Monday), and February 13, 2024 (Tuesday): Chinese New Year Celebration;
  •  February 13, 2024 (Monday): George Washington's Birthday in the USA.

On these days, trades involving certain assets will either conclude earlier than usual or remain closed.
