The Wise direct listing is a hit, trade it with Admirals!

On Wednesday, June 7, 2021, Wise launched its IPO.

Wise, formerly known as TransferWise, is a FinTech giant founded in 2010 by Estonian friends Taavet Hinrikus and Kristo Käärmann, who worked out a new way to make cross-border transfers at the real exchange rate, and have since expanded their product offering to include digital banking and debit services.

The direct listing opened at £8 a share Wednesday morning. The stock rallied as much as 10% to £8.88 by the market close, and is currently holding a £9.5bn ($13bn) valuation.
